The questions business owners ask.
Straight answers about setup, your data, the AI and how you are billed. Anything else, talk to us and ask.
Ask us the one that is not on this list.
If the question you actually have is not here, it is probably the interesting one. Talk to us and we will answer it with your own business in mind.
Starting on Freemi.
How do I start?
Press Set up my business and tell it how you work: your services and prices, opening hours, team, booking rules and how customers reach you. The guided setup builds your workspace around what you tell it.
Do I have to move all my data first?
No. You can start with your services and hours and let customer records build up as people book and pay. If you want years of customer history brought across, that is something we build in with you: talk to us about what you keep today.
What do you need from me?
Your services and prices, your hours, who is on the team and how you like to take bookings and deposits. If you already own a domain for your website, bring that too. The setup asks for each of these in turn.
What if it is not a fit?
Say so, and talk to us. If part of what you need is not built yet, you will hear it straight before you rely on it, not after.
Your records, your access.
Who can see customer information?
Only the people you give access to. Everyone signs in as themselves, and Owner, Manager and Staff roles decide which screens each person sees, so the books and the money are not open to the whole team.
What happens when someone leaves the team?
You remove their account and their access goes with it. The customers, bookings and notes they worked on stay with the business, so the next person picks up where they left off.
Is my workspace shared with anyone?
No. Your workspace is your own, never mixed with another business, and it sits behind a sign in from the first day. The privacy notice sets out what is held.
If we leave, what happens to it?
Your customers, bookings and payment history belong to your business, and you can take them with you. Getting your own records back should never be a project.
What runs on its own, and what does not.
Does it reply to customers on its own?
No. It drafts replies in your voice and a person on your team reads them and sends them. Anything that goes out is approved by someone first.
What does the AI advisor do?
It sits in the Control Tower and tells you what to look at first: today’s bookings, money in, messages waiting and what needs you. It points; you decide.
Does it change how it works on its own?
No. You set the rules and switch automations on when you want them; the system does not quietly change its own behaviour. If you want something done differently, you change it and you can see that you changed it.
What happens when it is unsure?
It leaves it for a person. A customer waiting a little for a real answer is a far better outcome than a confident wrong one.
Billing and the small print.
How is it priced?
Billed monthly. There is no price list on this site, because the setup is shaped to each business: talk to us and you will get a plain answer for yours.
Do my customers pay through Freemi?
Yes, when you want them to. Payments run on Stripe, online or in person, and card details are handled by Stripe. Deposits can be taken at booking.
Does it file my tax?
No. Your books are bookkeeping: takings categorised and payments reconciled as they happen, so you hand your accountant a clean pack instead of a shoebox. The filing stays with your accountant.
Who sets it up?
You do, with a guided setup that asks how you work and builds your workspace around it. For bigger needs, such as more locations or your own forms, we build it in with you.
